Lush: Yog Nog

So I bought my first Lush Christmas product of 2015,Yog NogYes, I know its October, but we may as well start early as theres so many to go through! I decided to purchase this as it's actually new to the Lush Christmas range so I had to try as it's a new release. The patterns and the colour of the bath bomb brought my attention to wanting to buy it, I thought the patterns were really cool and I picked it up wanting to look at them.

After pondering over the bath bombs one of the ladies informed me of the ingredients telling me how the bath bomb got its name: Soya Milk Yoghurt and then Shea Butter giving its name of Yog Nog. she told me that the Shea Butter was meant to give a relaxing bath that soothed my skin.

When I smelt this out of the bath (before it had dissolved) it smelled of toffee, however, when I put this into the bath it actually smelt of a mixture of that and brown sugar. The smell out of the bath was quite overpowering and bold but when it was in the water it lost quite a lot of the smell and it was actually hard to smell it.

When I put it into the bath, the bath bomb started fizzing fairly quickly, leaving a yellow colour and a foamy top. I originally thought that this was going to produce bubbles from the first couple of minutes as it went crazy! After about 6/7 minutes it had fully dissolved leaving a slight golden shimmer to the water it felt really soft on my skin from the Shea Butter.

Overall the bath bomb was really nice and left my skin feeling really moisturised. however, the residue from the Shea Butter had actually stuck around the bath where the waterline was leaving it quite hard when the water had drained. An It Works block got all the dirt from the bath fairly quick.
