Highlighters have been a favourite product of mine for a while now. I am all over the super glowy skin look where I have been mixing my foundations with liquid highlighters or using dewy setting sprays. These are my favourite four powder highlighters which include high end and drug store brands.
Each highlighter is a different shade which I love because they are all suitable for different make looks depending on the colours used within the look. My favourite day to day highlighter has to be the Mary Lou from theBalm, it's the perfect golden shimmer that looks really natural when blended.

The Makeup Revolution highlighter has pink undertones to it, I prefer using this when I am actually wearing blusher as it really compliments the pink tones used. As I have olive skin this doesn't look the best on its own, however, when mixed with a pink blusher it goes really nicely onto my skin.
As I said before, theBalm's highlighter is my favourite go-to-everyday highlighter, I find this really goes well with any makeup look. It is a very neutral/golden colour and it reflects so much when the light is hitting it. It's the most pigmented out of all of them so it is really simple to just put on.
My mac highlighter is still one of my favourites. The colour of this is very shimmery with pinky champagne undertones, this is a bit intense for everyday looks but its great for night outs and heavier makeup looks. I think this looks really great on the eyes too, to add shimmer on the lid as well as the brow bone and inner corner. for a full review on this highlighter read here
The elf highlighter is quite similar to theBalm's highlighter but it has whiter undertones to it rather than the strong gold undertones. Out of all of these highlighters this is the least pigmented, it is still amazing but it just needs more applications to get a better effect.
I like to use the Morphe M501 brush for application on my cheeks and nose. I found this brush after I saw Nikkietutorials using it, I saw how well it fitted it on her cheeks and I just had to have it. I still use my tapered eyeshadow brush for my cupids bow and eyes.
what are your favourite highlighters?
