Over the past few weeks I've finally bought/given some of the items on one of my beauty wish lists and some other products which I've heard great reviews on. All of these products are really affordable as they are all under £10.
technic nude eyeshadows |
The Nudes collection by technic is my favourite day to day eyeshadow palette. It has 6 shimmery colours which are really pigmented. The first colour is a great brow bone highlighter and the inner corner of the eye shimmer. The brown (next to the black) is my usual everyday crease colour as it emphasises the crease but not too much. The black is really good if you want to change a day look to a night look in seconds. The shimmer isn't too overpowering so it's really good for a day time look.
This product is a dupe for Benefits High Beam — but for a really good affordable price of £1.99 instead of £19.50. The product is really runny which is a benefit (hehe) as the application is really easy and it blends really well. I can see this product lasting for ages because you need the smallest about as a little does go a long way. The shine it comes with is lovely and its doesn't make your face look greasy or oily (win) like some other highlighters.
Lush bubblegum lip scrub |
This is something that has been on my wish list for quite a long time then the other day my boyfriend bought it me. I absolutely love this product and its great to use before using lipstick as it makes the application of the lipstick so much smoother as the Lip Scrub removes any dry/uneven parts of your lips. I love the taste and the smell of this — it's so gorgeous I just want to use it all the time.
Maybelline Baby Skin Primer |
I have mixed opinions with this primer. I have good days and bad days which I don't have with any other primer that I have used. The product is ‘lightweight’ so I suppose that could be the reason why. However when I use this on days I just use my wake me up concealer as a base it seems to work fine, but when I use it under any of my mac foundations it seems to make my skin look greasy or oily when I only have normal skin. When I finish this product I don't think ill repurchase this as I think there are some better ones for a similar price.
e.l.f waterproof eyeliner pen |
This has to be one of my favourite liquid eyeliners I have ever used. The tip of the eyeliner is quite firm so the application is really easy and when you press down to go across the lash line it doesn't feel as firm. The small tip makes it super easy to do a winged eye look. The product itself is really good as it is waterproof and smudge proof. The only problem is it seems to be running out quite fast, this could be because I use it daily and for the price of £2.49 I can't really put fault on it as you get what you pay for.
