Autumn prints: Checks!

Checkered items are my print for autumn! I think checkered is my favourite print in the entire world and it can be worn to all different occasions. I own each of these outfits and they both definitely suit with the accessories  

The skirt (boohoo) has a lovely black and white checkered pattern: if I was going to add a darker colour to this it could look a bit plain, but by adding the long sleeved red top tucked into the skirt it has made it more bright and vivid. 

The skort (river island) is such a gorgeous statement piece, I love wearing this and I've had so many compliments when I've had it on. I think the black top looks lovely with the skort for in the autumn as it's quite a dark look. 

The outfits have been paired with Chelsea boots (New look) as they make the outfit look classy and sophisticated. The accessories (both new look) make it a little bit brighter as they are gold and shiny.
